August 2026 Meeting: Renaissance Center - East Riverfront Project

Rivertown Detroit Association members recently gathered for an important discussion on the proposed $1.6 billion redevelopment of the Renaissance Center and Detroit riverfront. Steve Ogden, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs at Bedrock Detroit, shared an overview of the transformational plans for the RenCen, including residential and hotel conversions, expanded public riverfront space, and the proposed removal of two towers. Attendees also had the opportunity to ask questions, share feedback, and learn more about how Detroit residents can participate in the Community Benefits process as this significant project moves forward.
