April 2026 Meeting: City of Detroit Neighborhoods Update AT University Prep Science & Math High School

City of Detroit Director of the Department of Neighborhoods Bryan Peckinpaugh emphasized Mayor Mary Sheffield's dedication to the Neighborhoods, the role of the Rivertown Detroit neighborhood in the broader strategy, and ways we could contribute to the "Rise Higher Detroit" initiative. Exciting plans and programs were already in progress, and we collaborated with the new Rivertown Business Improvement Zone initiative.
